Bangladesh: a fast-growing population with a fast increasing need for food, and where agriculture consumes around 90% of the water use. Furthermore,  the climate is changing and water resources are becoming more unpredictable.  All these sectors are closely linked to each other, and research shows that the current strategies being used for agricultural production need to be adapted to be able to cope with the future food demand and the constraints of water availability. In this session, the ever-important nexus between water, food, and agriculture will be introduced. Furthermore, a case in the Barind will be the center of the plenary and group discussion.
